About the Author Stephen Renwick (author of bestselling sports books 'Tennis is Mental' and 'Tennis is Mental too') is a psychology tutor who has undertaken research into gambling addiction. In this book he looks at a case study of a compulsive gambler known as Guy. The book looks in detail at the psychological aspects of gambling and inside the mind of a gambler. By Richard Steiner Inside the Mind of a Gambler by Stephen Renwick is an easy read because it doesn't use a lot of psychological jargon. Renwick focuses on a specific problem gambler named "Guy;" and takes us through why he compulsively gambles and rationalizes this life destroying behavior and how compulsive gambling can be effectively treated. Renwick is a Brit so some of the examples and recommendations are specific to England; but; they are easily translatable to anyone in any country with a gambling addiction.
