I love how the book explains all of the occasions to send a thank you note, and also goes on to explain the importance of sending thank you notes; whether they like the gift they received, or not.The book also comes with several projects. I especially love the suggestions of taking various household objects and turning them into fun embellishments for your notes (my personal favourite is painting bow tie pasta!). The set also includes two stencils; one with letters and numbers and the other with various shapes plus coloured pencils, a pencil sharpener and enough cards and envelopes to send eight thank you notes.An added bonus is teaching kids the value of handmade.

I believe kids really should still learn to send paper thank you notes and this kit is the perfect all in one box that will get them on the right track. After all, making your own thank you cards is a great way to learn how to send them and the receiver will surely appreciate the custom card. The projects are fun and the stencils are great tools for all sorts of projects.

When the holiday season arrived and all the weeks of gift making and holiday preparations were nearly finished, I realized how special and appreciated it would feel if I had thank you notes from every person who received one of my hand knitted sweaters hats and socks! I always receive a thank you note from one conscientious person, and I always think how well brought up she is.Writing and receiving thank you notes can enhance and cement all the relationships we celebrate during the holidays and throughout the year. I have a friend who was selected for a job based on the thank you she wrote after the interview. And I certainly cherish the many thank you notes my grandchildren write.This kit is small but full of good ideas.
