4 of 4 people found the following review helpful. Great study guide By Dixie Schweitzer This was the study guide to accompany the BELIEVING JESUS book. It is designed to be used with the teaching videos, formatted for discussion in a small group setting. As such, the questions are designed to foster discussion. There are also daily "assignments" for personal introspection and deeper study in between the group sessions. I thought the progression of the chapter focus and the questions were well presented in language easily understood by a new-to-Bible-study audience.

By starchitect The DVD sessions were excellent, but I felt the study guide fell a little short. It seemed like there was another person that wrote the study guide than Lisa and I don't think it came across as well. Some of the questions were a little redundant and hard to answer at times. I love every study that Lisa has put together, but this study guide just didn't flow as well for me.

Ms. Harper is an excellent writer and includes much pertinent information. The homework is interesting without being intense. The DVD is well done and enjoyable.
